last update 2025-11-26 13:32 Acba bank presented its financing programs and opportunities aimed at supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises, manufacturers, agricultural businesses, farmers, as well as individual customers at the “Banks in one place” expo organized by the Union of Banks of Armenia in Syunik.
For nearly 30 years, Acba bank has been one of the leading contributors to the development of Armenia’s economy. With an extensive branch network across the country, including in 4 cities of Syunik, the bank actively participates in implementing priority and long-term projects important for the country.
“This is a very valuable platform not only for the bank, but also for SMEs operating in the Syunik region, as it creates an additional opportunity to discuss business development prospects. It is also an important setting for strengthening communication between the bank, local SMEs, and government representatives, since many of the region’s projects are implemented with government support,” noted Hakob Andreasyan, Chief Executive Officer of Acba bank.
"All our important initiatives in Syunik are related to value chains and modern technologies. This means that we not only finance businesses, but also build a common value chain, providing experience, financing, and then sales channels. We have many successful experiences, where as a result of building one value chain, a second one is created, then a third one, and so on. And people want to imitate these successful experiences and we are happy to help them," noted Arsen Melkonyan, Director of Retail Business at Acba bank.
In Armenia, Acba not only provides financing to SMEs but also helps shape the environment for their development by sharing knowledge and the bank’s accumulated best practices.
“Since 2013, within the framework of its corporate social responsibility, Acba bank has been offering free business training programs for entrepreneurs. These trainings are available to both Acba bank clients and non-clients,” noted Norik Nazaryan, Director of SME and Corporate Business at Acba bank.
