Acba bank has launched the issuance of Visa Signature Limited Edition cards featuring Martiros Saryan’s painting “Armenia”.
These premium cards, issued in a limited edition of 500 exclusive units, are the first in Armenia to use innovative AR technologies.
The new and exclusive initiative by Acba bank and Visa international payment and settlement system brings together Armenian art, innovative technologies, and a new banking experience, creating an opportunity to discover Armenian cultural wealth in a new way.
Acba bank, in collaboration with the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and Arloopa, also "brought to life" Martiros Saryan's paintings "Yerevan Yard in Spring", "At the Spring", "At the Well. Hot Day", "Persia" and "Self-Portrait: Three Ages", as well as presented the "Armenia" using VR technology.
“The idea arose to “bring to life” Saryan’s paintings, and it was also decided to issue a card that would bear images of Saryan’s works. Our choice immediately fell on the painting “Armenia” because it characterizes our homeland very well and is considered one of the best works of Saryan’s long creative life,” noted Hakob Andreasyan, CEO at Acba bank.
"Acba bank has supported art for many years and continues this commitment as one of the most important directions of its social responsibility. We wanted to create something that would popularize and promote Saryan's art," said Arsen Melkonyan, Director of Retail Business and Deputy CEO at Acba bank.
Visa Signature Limited Edition cards provide exclusive opportunities for culture and travel lovers: preferential entry to museums around the world, unlimited free visits to the Martiros Saryan House Museum with one guest, free access to designated lounges at over 1,300 airports around the world, travel and shopping insurance, etc.
