Acba bank is currently undergoing a transformation process, and one of its goals is to introduce new "green" financing instruments and initiate the issuance of "green" bonds by the first quarter of 2024.

Acba also provides the opportunity to use many “green” financing tools, such as trade finance products, “green” business loans, loans for solar plants and water heaters, energy efficiency programs of the community, as well as the products of the Green leasing sub-brand of Acba Leasing, a member of the Acba financial group, from Acba Bank branches.

Back in 2011, together with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), we developed and implemented a "Social and Environmental Risks" management system in lending processes. The latter is self-employed, and based on baseline data, it classifies loans according to Social and Environmental risk class. In case of violation of the latter by the borrowers, the bank "recalls" the loan. This is a clear indicator that Acba highly values social and environmental protection in Armenia. Acba Bank is currently the only financial institution in Armenia that finances energy-saving measures of communities.
The bank is consistent and emphasizes sustainable development in both internal and external functions, a vivid example of which is the new headquarters of Acba Bank under construction on Tsovakal Isakov Avenue, which is being built according to the LEED Gold standard and will be ready in 2025.
