Acba bank offered flexible financing choices for energy-efficient and energy-saving products to both businesses and individuals during the energy efficiency expo hosted by the "German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation" in Ijevan.
During the energy efficiency expo, products such as Armenian-made water heaters, electric boilers, heated floors, and other energy-efficient solar solutions were presented.
"We are glad that Acba bank joined this event. Armenia has so much sun that positions the country well to make significant advancements in the field of green energy production in the coming years. In that way, Acba bank stands by the residents, offering interesting financial solutions so that people can take advantage of the advantages of "green" technologies," said Eric Böttcher, head of the Armenian representative office of the German Savings Banks Association.
This year Acba bank was recognized as the best in Armenia by ESG (environmental, social and governance) standards by the Euromoney financial magazine, taking into account the steady growth of the bank's loan portfolio and its growing share in the ESG framework. Taking into account the international best practices, Acba has developed and will soon implement its own procedures for issuing "green" loans, through which the criteria for "green" loans and the mechanisms for calculating CO2 emissions will be defined.
