On March 30 a press-conference took place. On April 24 the updated exhibition of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute will be launched.
The exhibition hall of 2,500 square meters is already prepared, and several thousands of documents are ready, which have been collected for seven years. Some of them will be presented in the original, and some in electronic form.
On April 29 an updated temporary exhibition, entitled "Armenia 1915. Paris hosts the collection of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute", will be on display in the municipality, which will be staged until July 4. The Paris exhibition will feature the collection of genocide survivor Aurora Mardiganyan for the first time, which includes original posters of 1918 California silent tape "Auction of Souls" featuring Mardiganyan, as well as her photographs, personal items, issues, dedicated to her, and other unique exhibits.
Hayk Demoyan expressed his gratitude to “ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE” Bank for supporting the exhibition and financing of translation and publishing of 4 books on genocide.
Harutyun Poghosyan, Head of Marketing Department of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK said: “When we learnt about the planned exhibition last December, decided to have our participation and contribution to the commemoration of the centenary of the Armenian Genocide and assist in the implementation of various activities and campaigns. Given the fact that the French banking group CREDIT AGRICOLE is the largest shareholder of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, we will try to disseminate the information on the Armenian Genocide also among the employees of that immense institution.
