On May 15, Silicon Mountains will take place in Lori, where Acba bank, along with leaders in the technology sector, will explore the regional potential and showcase its own expertise in the field.
The forum is organized by the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies, marking its second time hosting the event outside the capital. Preparation for this is crucial: it involves analyzing experiences, summarizing achievements, and setting goals that can serve as a platform for sharing best practices with partners and the public.
The topics discussed during the forum this year, including "Artificial Intelligence and Automation", "Digital Infrastructures", and "Cybersecurity and Data Protection", are at the core of ACBA bank's activities.
"In 2020, about 25% of Acba bank's transactions were conducted through digital platforms. Today, more than 87% of all transactions are carried out through the acba digital, acbaMax platforms, and other digital channels. In this regard, our systems are protected by military-grade technologies. Acba digital is safeguarded against unauthorized intervention in the software code, meaning we know what devices our customers are using to access our app. Additionally, we implement biometric authentication mechanisms, making it impossible to replace the app on a different device for fraudulent purposes," said Tigran Simonyan, Director of Digital Platforms and Technologies at Acba bank.
