On September 6, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK CJSC Chief Executive Officer Hakob Andreasyan was appointed as the head of the Union of Banks of Armenia by the decision of the Board of the UBA.

The Union of Armenian Banks was headed by Samvel Chzmachyan during the previous 8 years.
