The children of "SOS-Children's Villages" of Kotayk region spend their holidays in a camp in Dilijan. Children's life here is filled with many team games, which are not disturbed even by the local sun and heat.

In "SOS-Children's Villages” children receive care, upbringing and education, just like in a family. The beneficiaries are children who are socially disadvantaged or in difficult life situations.

The guest of the campers was Acba Bank, a partner of the "SOS-Children's Villages" charitable foundation, with the support of which the camp was implemented. The bank employees prepared a full program for the children, shared their own experience and inspired the children to realize their seemingly impossible dreams.

"We tried to make the day of the camp children more interesting, we planned interactive and team games for them, talked and tried to convey the idea that a dream should not remain a dream, it should become a goal and steps should be taken to achieve that goal. Together with the children, we tried to plan what steps they would take to move forward, we prepared special papers for the children to write and stick on their walls, in order to remember their dream every day and to work every day to achieve that dream," said Armine Tumanyan, the non financial services team lead at Acba bank OJSC.

Acba Bank, a partner of "SOS-Children's Villages", implemented this program with the support of Visa "BARERAR" card holders. Back in 2012, the bank issued the charity Visa "BARERAR" card for the first time in Armenia together with the “Hayastan All-Armenian Fund”. Within the framework of the program, the bank transfers 0.1% of the amount of all payment transactions made with the Visa "BARERAR" card from its profit to the fund's special account, as well as 50% of the service fee. Cardholders simply perform transactions, from which the bank directs the profit to charity at its own expense.

Acba Bank's cooperation with "SOS-Children's Villages" has a history of more than 5 years.
