This service is intended for individuals and legal entities who possess ownership of, or title to, corporate securities issued by other entities.

ACBA BANK is a member of the Unified System of Securities Registry Maintenance and Settlement. The Bank has been awarded the status of an Account Operator by “Central Depository of Armenia” OJSC.

As an Account Operator, the Bank acts as an intermediary offering custodial services for corporate securities, accepting and processing any lawful order from its Customers pertaining to the custody of corporate securities.

Custodial services for corporate securities for legal entities

The following documents are required to sign an agreement on custodial services for corporate securities:

Legal entities

a) a filled out Accountholder Card (provided at the Bank), signed by a person authorized to act on behalf of the legal entity without powers of attorney (as evidenced by the founding documents of that legal entity) and bearing the official stamp of the legal entity (if applicable);

b) a personal identification document of the person authorized to act on behalf of the legal entity.

Note: Additional information and documents may be requested to establish compliance with procedural and legal requirements governing the provision of custodial services by the Bank.

Custodial services are included in brokerage services provided by the Bank on the market for government securities. As part of its custodial services, the Bank:

Opens and services depositary accounts for the customer, to register bonds owned or otherwise legally disposed of by the customer.

The following types of depositary accounts are offered:

Free,
Limited by collateral,
Blocked for disposal,
Limited by collateral / blocked for disposal.

Provides depositary account statements and other information pertaining to these accounts.

Returns the bonds to the customer upon the customer’s first request or upon the termination (lapse) of the custody agreement, by transferring the bonds to the customer’s depositary account with another provider of custodial services.
