In 1994, composer, People's Artist of Armenia, Artur Grigoryan founded the State Song Theater.

3 decades after its establishment, the State Song Theater was renovated and equipped with modern sound and light capabilities, and innovative equipment, while preserving the unique style of the founder, maestro Artur Grigoryan.

Acba bank and Visa BENEFACTOR card holders became partners of the State Song Theater. Within the framework of the program, Acba bank donates 0.1% of the amount of all payment transactions made with Visa BENEFACTOR cards, as well as 50% of the card service fee, from its profits to the special account of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. Cardholders simply perform transactions, from which the bank directs the profit to charity at its own expense.

"It was top priority for us to reopen such a theater that would be suitable for today's audience, who sees everything. We never had the audio equipment that we have today. Stages, chairs, tables, floor, mirrors... We did everything as our art director Artur Grigoryan wanted. It was very difficult when giving the second pulse, there were few people by my side, I was alone. Thankfully, I reached out to Acba bank and they came through for us, supporting the State Song Theater and enabling us to carry on the work of the esteemed RA People's Artist Artur Grigoryan. I am truly grateful to Acba bank," said Mane Grigoryan, director of the State Song Theater.

The reopened theater with the preservation of old traditions and innovative solutions continues to educate generations, to present good music to the audience and stage new musical performances.
