- Payment in the frames of the letter of credit is made against the required documents according to the terms of payment defined by the letter of credit (at sight, deferred payment) and does not depend on the arrival of the goods at the actual place of delivery.
3. What document is required to be presented for the issuance of a letter of credit with post-financing?
- The documentary letter of credit is issued according to the client's instructions (application). In addition, a Proforma invoice issued by the seller is a precondition for the issuance of the letter of credit. |
